Dr. Irine Vaiman, MD, PhD

Dr. Vaiman believes in addressing the root causes of health problems. She balances holistic concepts with traditional medicine to treat patients and keep illness from reoccurring. She believes in asking the right questions to formulate effective solutions for better health and working as a team with patients and other physicians to provide comprehensive care.

Dr. Vaiman's special areas of interest and expertise include: OB/GYN, women's health, psychiatry, autistic spectrum disorders, children's development, holistic medicine.

Education

Dr. Irine Vaiman M.D. PhD, graduated with honors from the Tashkent State Medical School in Russia. While in residency, Dr. Vaiman achieved her PhD in gynecology and endocrinology for clinical research in menopausal/climacteric symptoms. She moved to the U.S. in 1991 and completed three years of Family Medicine residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

In 1998 Dr. Vaiman founded AFM with Dr. Jacob Grinberg.

Board Certified in Family Practice. Member of the American Academy of Family Medicine. Member of King County Medical Society. Recipient of the 2010 America's Top Family Physicians Award.
